Tool Design Process

It begins with smart design

First, our sales staff works with you to learn your needs and quote a price for your project.

Then our on-site designers, using Solidworks Design stations, can import your existing blueprint or CAD file, or create one for you. Next we make a flat blank and do several strip layouts to find the best combination of material usage, ease of maintenance and class of die needed.

We proceed to die layout of the plan and section views. We order the material and detail all the components. At each stage, we involve at least three people to individually analyze the design process. And you are always encouraged to participate in any or all of the steps. Our process works to ensure a trouble free die the first time, every time. We fully detail all the components so our dies are easily maintained.

We believe in up front engineering in contrast to re-engineering after the die has been tried out.
