Die Tryout

The final step in quality assurance

Once the die is assembled, we test run it through one of our tryout presses. Our presses range from a 150-ton press with a bed size of 30 x 44, to a 600-ton press with a bed that’s 60 x 108. Three of the presses are set up with full feeder lines.

We use this step in the process to make sure that every die we build is a quality running tool that makes good parts to print. We test it for trouble-free feeding and make sure the parts are ejected from the die without any problems.

When you work with Performance Tool & Die you are assured that when you receive a die from us, it’s ready to be setup for production. No more press downtime.
Our presses are for die tryout only. However, if you need production stamping, we have another facility that can serve your needs. We’d be happy to help. Just give us a call.
